Daycare Centres & Schools
At PRS, we know there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to first aid in child education, so we offer training tailored to the unique needs of:
-
Teachers & school support staff
-
Daycare centers & ECE providers
-
Caregivers & home-based educators
Our course cover life-saving techniques like CPR, bleeding control, and injury management, focusing on preserving life, reducing injury, and promoting recovery.

Aligned with WorkSafe NZ and Ministry of Education guidelines, our training meets the Education and Training Act 2020 requirements, ensuring your team is ready for emergencies with CPR, AED, and First Aid skills.
Whether you're new to first aid or just brushing up on your skills, our hands-on training is the perfect way to boost your confidence in handling emergencies with young children. It’s also a great way to ensure your team stays compliant and fully prepared for anything.
Build a training program tailored to your specific needs and environment! Initial training covers all the essentials – basic life support, airway obstructions, and the management of anaphylaxis – in a 2-hour session. Choose between full face-to-face training or a hybrid format (1 hour online, 1 hour in class). After that, you can personalise your course by adding extra content blocks, each equivalent to an additional hour of instructor-led learning.
If you're looking for NZQA unit standards, check out our Foundation First Aid session covering 6401 & 6402, or our New Zealand First Aid session, which includes unit standards 6401, 6402, & 6400.

Kids Save Lives!
CPR in Schools
Empowering a generation of children with the confidence to save lives can make a significant difference. A safer, more productive society with lower healthcare costs will benefit everyone. Just two hours of instruction each year, starting at age 12, is sufficient to impact not only the children but also their broader communities.

Early learning services have a statutory requirement to have first aid qualified staff, as is stated in the Education and Training Act 2020.
